- Orange County is located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area in California.
- Orange County is considered as the third-most populous county in California and is also considered as the sixth most populous in the United States of America.
- Orange County’s three (3) most populous cities include: (1) Anaheim, (2) Santa Ana, and (3) Irvine.
- Santa Ana is considered as the county seat of the Orange County. The county seat is the label given to a city where the administrative center is located.
- Orange County has 34 incorporated cities.
- Orange County is considered as a tourist center with tourist spots or attractions including Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Modjeska House, and Angel Stadium.
- Orange County also has several popular beaches along the coastline that attract tourists.
GEOGRAPHY
- Orange County is bordered to the southwest by the Pacific Ocean, to the north by Los Angeles County, to the northeast by San Bernardino County, to the east by Riverside County, and to the southeast by San Diego County.
- The northwestern area of the Orange County lies on the coastal plain of the Los Angeles Basin.
- The primary source of water of the Orange County is the Santa Ana River which flows through the middle of the county in the direction of northeast to southwest.

- Usually, the Orange County gets subdivided into two (2) regions: (1) North Orange County and (2) South Orange County.

- South Orange County includes Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo, and San Clemente.

ECONOMY
- Orange County serves as the home for several headquarters of different companies.
- Orange County also serves as the headquarters for some of the Fortune 500 companies including Ingram Micro, Broadcom, Western Digital, and Pacific Life.
- Some notable technology companies that can be found in Orange County include VIZIO (a TV and soundbar company), Linksys (a router manufacturing company), Blizzard Entertainment (a video/computer game creating company), and Panasonic Avionics Corporation (an in-flight product manufacturing company).
- There are also regional headquarters that are located in Orange County. Some of them include Mazda, Toshiba, Toyota, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki Motors, and Hyundai.
